About Bucket List

Raid Time
Our current raid schedule is Wed. and Thu. 8-11pm server time.

Guild Direction
The Bucket List is in a building stage of putting together 10 and 25 man rosters. We'll be raiding until the day Cataclysm launches, and plan on recruiting people for PvP as well. Once cataclysm launches, we're going to focus on end game PvE raiding in 10s and 25s (depending on what format Blizzard decides on for final difficulty/reward ratio), as well as rated BGs and arena.

Guild Officers
Co GMs: Euripides, Darkbrew, Problems
Officers: Keenancreek, Shhxshhxshh (or "Wic", for short)

All guild officers have an “open door” policy and are available to discuss any issues you might have. We're always open to opinions and constructive criticism, however please understand that sometimes we're going to have to make decisions that are not going to please everyone. When this happens, just remember that we're all doing our best.

Division of labor among officers is currently in a state of flux, however Problems tends to set up raid groups, Euripides tends to distribute loot and raid lead, and Darkbrew tends to manage the site and is generally in charge of recruitment. As we get bigger, we'll define more specific duties and assign them as needed, however for now, we're a small enough crew that we can all do everything.

Loot System
All 25 man content is run with EPGP. If there are non-guildies present, everyone elegible for the loot will /roll, and if a guildie wins it, we go back to EPGP. All 10 mans are roll for main spec, with a clause that you can't roll against someone who has received less loot than you. The exception to this clause is for tier tokens- even if you've sponged up half the loot in the instance, you can still roll on a tier token. We don't want people sharding upgrades just so they can have a chance at a token.

There is a detailed explanation of our EPGP system in the forums. We ask that all raiders install the EPGP Lootmaster addOn. This addOn makes distribution fast, efficient and simple. We have a 7% weekly decay rate, no minimum EP for a PR, and a base GP of 500.

Guild Ranks

(Note: some of these have not yet been implemented)
-Social: friends, family, alts
-Initiate PvP: characters working toward PvPer rank
-Initiate PvE: characters working toward Raider rank
-PvPer: Has access to guild repairs, rank achieved once the character is "premade ready"
-Raider: Has access to guild repairs, rank achieved once the character is raid ready
-Officer: Hands out flasks during raids, handles day to day operation of the guild
-GM: Like an officer, but is also named Euripides, Problems, or Darkbrew.

About Bucket List
Bucket List is a guild run the way we've always wanted our guilds to be run. We provide an environment that's mature, nurturing, and drama free, and we provide consumables, repair money, and a good reputation. Our members are the face of the guild when they play with people in other groups, and we expect a few things from them:
-Represent our values: Always do the right thing. Be fair, be polite, and be awesome.
-Help us grow: Setting a good enough example might lead to people asking about joining us. Tell them we're always looking for skilled players, and if you feel they're ready to step into our raids without any ramp-up period, point them to an officer so we can shortcut the application process.

Applying to the Guild
Our application process is basically a few open ended questions. Answer them like a pants-on-head retard, and you're telling us that you don't fit into our culture. Gear is a secondary concern. Submit an application

Skills Coaching and Guild Culture
Bucket List is a group of people, not a group of characters. We don't let bad people be in the guild, but we won't kick a good person who can't contribute out. If a guild member can't perform in their chosen end game role, we'll first offer coaching to see whether we can build on existing skills and get the person ramped up to where they are supporting their spot.

Attendance and Sign-Ups
The only attendance rule at this time is If you sign up, you show up. During the end of the expansion, we acknowledge that people start to drop out of the game while waiting for cataclysm. We're constantly recruiting to help bridge this gap, however we don't hold lack of signups against people at this point in the game. We certainly will hold you to your signups, though.

If you sign up for something and you're not going to be there, we need to know about it as soon as possible on this thread. If you're not sure whether you can make it, hold off on replying to the invite until you are sure.

If you sign up, don't show up, and don't tell us what happened, you've left as many as 24 people standing around waiting when they could have been raiding. This is not OK, and will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Raid Rules and Preparation
-Familiarize yourself with the bosses we will be facing. Watch a video or read a strategy.
-Show up on time and be ready to go.
-Please make sure gear is gemmed, enchanted and fully repaired prior to the raid.

10-man vs 25-man
Currently we are an ICC 10-man hard mode and ICC 25 man normal mode guild. When we run two concurrent ICC (10) groups, we will do our best to balance each group with strong players and will have a Kingslayer in each group for access to hard modes. Although we will focus on defeating hard modes we do want our members to see the Lich King encounter and get their titles.

Hard modes do offer up a degree of challenge so a group that is seeking the Kingslayer title may want to spend less time on certain hard modes so that you can reach the Lich King in a given week.
